Care Academy open week brings together member organisations, governments and researchers for four days around one question: how care systems get built, funded and staffed. It is the Alliance’s largest gathering of the year.
Programme
- Day one: a public session with care workers and the people they care for.
- Day two: the closing plenary and the commitments members take home.
- Day three: the state of care report and a ministerial roundtable.
- The final day: working sessions on financing, workforce, data and climate.
Who it is for
Open to member organisations. A number of places are held for invited guests from national and local governments, and every session is held in English and Spanish with interpretation.
Registration
Registration closes two weeks before the event. Travel support is available for civil society members from low-income countries; the details come with the registration form.
